Samieca Morgan is an Assistant Dean of Students and Case Manager at Florida Atlantic University. In her role, she is responsible for addressing the needs of students in crisis by providing advocacy and coordination of resources, as well as helping students navigate the services, processes, and policies at the university. Additionally, Samieca is the co-chair of the Exceptional Circumstance Withdrawal Committee and is a member of several committees at FAU.

Before working at Florida Atlantic University, Samieca worked as a Transition Counselor at PACE Center for Girls. As a Transition Counselor, Samieca worked with at-risked girls and young women, facilitating therapeutic support groups and providing individual counseling. In this role, she oversaw the afterschool program, assisting students with college and career planning. Because of her dedication to working with the students in the program, Samieca was asked to join the School Advisory Council for Educational Alternatives in Palm Beach County. Before working at PACE, Samieca started her professional career as a therapist with Chrysalis Health Center.

Samieca holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Social Work degree from Barry University. She is passionate about working with women and children and helping them become the best version of themselves. Samieca believes that to who much is given, much is required, and has a strong desire to pay it forward. In her free time, Samieca enjoys running her own business as an Emotional Wellness Coach.
